1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the DevFeed mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

DevFeed is a discovery app where users browse and share developer resources — npm packages and open-source projects (collectively, "Content"). Users can view a feed, submit packages or projects, upvote, and save items. Submissions are reviewed before they appear publicly.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Identity

The App does not require you to create an account or provide a password. Each device is assigned an anonymous identifier so the App can attribute submissions and interactions. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device.

5. User-Generated Content

5.1 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for any Content you submit (including package or project names, descriptions, icons, and links). You represent that your Content is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.

5.2 Licence you grant us

By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that Content within the App for the purpose of operating the Service. You retain ownership of your Content.

5.3 Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

We have zero tolerance for objectionable Content or abusive users. You must not submit, or use the App to distribute, Content that:

is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or deceptive;
is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or discriminatory;
is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
is spam, advertising, or a misleading or low-quality submission;
links to malware, phishing, or other harmful or malicious destinations; or
violates the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

5.4 Intellectual property of others

You may only submit Content that you own or have the explicit right to share. Do not submit names, logos, screenshots, branding, or other material that belongs to a third party without permission. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions do not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other right.

5.5 Moderation, reporting, and removal

We review submissions before they are published and may reject, remove, or edit any Content at our discretion. The App provides a reporting tool so users can flag objectionable Content; we act on reports and will remove violating Content and may restrict or block the responsible user. We aim to address reports of egregious Content promptly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or moderation controls;
scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data except as the App intends; or
use the App for any unlawful purpose.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

The App displays links to third-party destinations (such as npm and GitHub) and references third-party packages and projects. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or services. Following a link is at your own risk and subject to the third party's own terms.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The App itself — including its design, branding ("DevFeed", "Tinkernook"), text, and software — is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

9. Disclaimers

The App and its Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that Content is accurate, that listed packages or projects are safe or suitable, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use Content and follow links at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the App, third-party Content, or external links.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the App, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or stop providing the App to you, or remove your Content, at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

13. Apple App Store — Additional Terms (for iOS users)

These Terms are between you and Tinkernook only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the App or its Content.

Your licence to use the App is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the App; any warranty claims are our responsibility.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product-liability, legal/regulatory, or consumer-protection claims.
In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, we (not Apple) are responsible for investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you use the App from another country, you remain responsible for complying with your local laws, and mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply to you.
